Our Voorhees studio is inside Voorhees Town Center, the former Echelon Mall, with free parking in the Town Center lot — an easy afternoon out from Cherry Hill, Marlton, Haddonfield or Berlin.

You sit side by side at the workshop tables, with Turkish tea and Turkish delight while you work. The mosaic lamp is our signature workshop: you each design your own, and both lamps go home with you the same day.

Mother–daughter day out FAQ

Is a workshop a good mother–daughter activity?

Yes. You sit side by side, each make your own piece or share one, and an instructor guides you both from start to finish. A mosaic lamp takes 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the group and the design, and you both take your lamps home the same day.

What's the pace like, and is it seated?

Relaxed and seated. You'll be sitting at a table for most of the session, with the odd moment standing, and you can take a break whenever you like. Your instructor goes at your pace.

Will we be with other people?

Public sessions are shared with other guests. To sit together as a group, email us at hello@mosaicartstudio.us before your session — or book a private session for your group alone.

Can we each make a different project, or share one?

Both. Everyone can choose a different project in the same session, or two of you can share one piece: add an “Accompany Person” seat when you book.

Do we need any art experience?

No. Every workshop is beginner-friendly: an instructor guides you step by step, and all materials and tools are included.
