About the Role
As an Art Instructor, you guide guests through their mosaic workshop from the first blank surface to the finished piece they carry home. You set the tone of the room, keep the session running smoothly, and make sure everyone leaves proud of what they made.
What You'll Do
- Welcome guests and lead mosaic workshops for groups of all sizes and ages
- Demonstrate techniques clearly and patiently, adapting to each guest's pace
- Prepare materials and workstations before each session, and reset the studio afterward
- Keep the studio clean, organized, and safe throughout the day
- Help create a warm, encouraging atmosphere — especially for nervous first-timers
What We're Looking For
- Genuine enjoyment of working with people, including children and large groups
- Clear, friendly communication and comfort speaking in front of a room
- Reliability and punctuality — our sessions are booked and scheduled in advance
- Weekend and evening availability, when most of our workshops run
- Patience and a steady hand for detailed work
No mosaic experience needed. We provide full paid training, so what matters most is that you enjoy working with people.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience teaching, hosting, serving, or leading groups
- A background in art, crafts, or design
- Additional languages spoken
