During the workshop, you’ll create your own marbled design on paper. Upgrading to print on silk items like handkerchiefs, twillies, or scarves is available for an additional fee.

Duration
Workshops last approximately 1 to 2 hours, including time for instruction, practice, and project completion.
Age Limit
Children aged 5 and up are welcome to join with parental supervision. It’s a fun activity for families!
Registration
All participants must register online in advance. Walk-ins are not accepted, so please book your spot ahead of time.
Skill Level
No prior experience is needed! This workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to explore a new creative art form.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
• Cancellations must be made at least 168 hours (7 days) prior to the event start time for a full refund.
• Cancellations made between 168 to 120 hours (7 to 5 days) before the event may incur an administrative fee of up to 50% of the booking fee.
• Cancellations made less than 120 hours (5 days) before the event are non-refundable.
• Rescheduling must be done at least 48 hours prior to the event. Rescheduling within 48 hours will incur a handling fee of $25 per person, payable in cash at the workshop.
Important Reminder!
Please arrive 10 minutes before the workshop begins to get settled. We recommend wearing comfortable, casual clothes—creating art can get a little messy!
You can either Reserve a Seat or Select a specific project in advance when booking.
Our Reservation Fee is $55, which includes all basic materials and paper printing. Printing on silk items requires an upgrade on top of the Reservation Fee:
• Silk Handkerchief: Reservation Fee + $35
• Silk Twilly: Reservation Fee + $45
• Silk Scarf: Reservation Fee + $65
Additional projects may be added in the Studio, depending on available time and materials.
For larger projects, such as Silk Scarves, we recommend booking one seat per project in advance to ensure enough time to complete them.
Example: To make two Silk Scarves for the same person, please book two seats in advance.

Arrive & Learn
Join us at the studio, where our skilled instructors will guide you through the fascinating art of Ebru water marbling. You’ll start by creating your own unique design on water using special marbling tools and techniques.
Print on Paper
Once your design is complete, you will transfer it onto high-quality paper. This initial print is included with your studio fee.
Upgrade to Silk & More
Want to take your artwork to the next level? You can choose to print your design on silk scarves, handkerchiefs, or other premium materials for an additional cost. Our team encourages this upgrade to give you a truly special keepsake!
Dry & Take It Home
After printing, use our studio’s drying tools, including an iron, to set your design on the silk or other materials. Once dried, you can take your masterpiece home, ready to use or display right away.

I brought my mother to the Ebru class in Vorrhees. My cousin also joined us. It was a lovely class, the instructor was super helpful and enthusiastic about the class. I was excited to try the art. I made a beautiful scarf after playing around with techniques and learning how the colors transferred. I highly recommend this class if you have an interest in this style of art. Great experience. (Don’t wear white, it’s a fabric paint used so it will stain your clothes despite apron available a few drops of color speckled my cousins white shoes)
I thoroughly enjoyed the water marbling class! Our hostess was lovely and informative, as she explained the origins of Ebru and how the tradition has passed their time. It was very enjoyable to do the class with my friends, and we made beautiful pieces. I will definitely be back to do another session, this is a great experience!

So much fun!! Small class size was perfect and allowed lots of personal attention/guidance from the instructor. Will definitely do it again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun activity. They even gave us turkish delight and tea, which was delicious.

I enjoyed it so much when I did it in April that I talked my cousin into coming with me in September. We both enjoyed learning the process and appreciated experimenting on paper and being able to ask questions and get advice from our knowledgeable instructor. We love our new scarves! It’s a great way to spend a few hours.

This was a fun and creative way to spend an afternoon. My scarf came out great. HOWEVER, if you are looking for more detailed instruction on how to pattern and the art of marbling, this is not that. You are given some paper and allowed to play with the inks. Then at the end you make your final product. Without much instruction you can make something pretty but I would have appreciated learning a bit more about the techniques involved.
It was a lot of fun but the scarf making was expensive for an item I may not wear many times. I would have preferred to make a shorter scarf for less money. Also, the colors were not as bright on the scarf as they were on paper. I was disappointed in that.
